Wax Seal Capricorn Constellation NecklaceWe Are All Smith
Carve your own path with our Capricorn Constellation Necklace cast from copper clay with a wax seal. Hanging from a 28 inch silver plated brass chain, no two pendants are alike, just like every Capricorn is their own person, despite their many common traits.
Sometimes known as Amalthea in Greek mythology, Capricorn is the goat that suckled the infant Zeus after his mother, Rhea, saved him from being devoured by his father Cronos. The same goat's broken horn became the cornucopia, or horn of plenty. Capricornus is also sometimes identified as Pan, the god with a goat's head, who saved himself from the monster Typhon by giving himself a fish's tail and diving into a river. However the stories and myths shift, the ancient versions of Capricorn are all associated with resourcefulness and merriment.
Today, Capricorn as an astrological sign is still associated strongly with both independence and fierce loyalty. Capricorns trust themselves above all, and prefer to be in control, and would rather handle everything on their own than risk someone else doing it less well. Both ambitious and patient, Capricorns make excellent friends, and excel in business and leadership positions, always eager to work hard and climb higher. Just remember to mix all that self-discipline and responsibility with some fun and romance.
